Specialised Football Program

Specialised Football Program

FOOTBALL APPLICATION FORM

St Norbert College introduced a Specialised Football Program in 2022.

Designed to provide an additional opportunity for our student body to stride for excellence, the program aims to develop physical skills, fitness, teamwork and knowledge of sport officiating and coaching.

Students enrolled in the football program will compete in various soccer competitions such as Associated and Catholic College (ACC) and School Sport WA (SSWA).

SELECTION CRITERIA

The Specialised Football  Program caters for St Norbert College students only. The College welcomes applications from currently enrolled St Norbert College students and students from other schools while supporting the rich educational program that St Norbert College is well known for.

Selection will be based on both academic performance and physical skill levels. Positive attitudes towards both aspects will be an important part of selection in the program. Reports will be required from the student’s current school and a reference from a club football coach.  The selection process will include scrutiny of references and school reports, participation in skill and fitness trials conducted at the College.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the following expectations:

  • Maintain an excellent attendance and behaviour record.
  • Display a positive attitude towards the College ethos.
  • Participate consistently and to the best of their ability throughout their involvement in the program.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards their academic studies.
  • Participate in College sporting activities other than football.

SCHOLARSHIPS

There are currently no scholarships being offered in 2022. Our scholarship criteria will be reviewed in the near future.
