DANCE and drama performances, student-led tours of the College grounds, language lessons, a basketball game and an abundance of educational displays . . .
The annual St Norbert College Open Day on Friday, 6 March, will showcase all that is on offer for families seeking excellence in education.
Discover the work of the Student Ministry, the challenges set for students in the Academic Excellence Program, destinations and recent experiences on Humanities Tours and International Immersions as well as historical displays of the College and the history of the Norbertines.
One-hour tours will be held at 9am and 1pm when visitors will break into groups with a student leader to explore all elements of the College.
A Day in Life of a Year 7 student will unfold on screen as well as introductions to Sensational Science, Maths World of Probability, English, Languages, Religious Education and Library and Technology displays.
Dancers will perform Hip-Hop in the Dance Studio while performers in the upcoming production of The Sound of Music will entertain visitors with a scene from the much-loved musical which will premiere at Xanten Performing Arts Centre in May.
Families new and ”old” and the wider community are warmly invited to attend and meet the College’s dedicated staff from 9am-11am, and 1pm-3pm. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided at the end of each tour.
