Inaugural SoNiC Music Fest a big hit

Inaugural SoNiC Music Fest a big hit

AT a packed venue in Northbridge on Sunday afternoon, five College bands performed their hearts out in the first SoNiC Music Fest, presented by the St Norbert College music department.

With all 300 tickets sold, the event was one of the biggest on the College calendar this year with families, teachers, tutors and support staff, and fellow and former students alike converging on the Universal Bar to show their support for the emerging talents of Certificate III Music students who have formed the bands Common Sense, Serotainment, Horses in Hospital and Year 12 headline acts Upset Humour and Running on Empty.

Here are some of the highlights, band by band. Special thanks to Mr Beins and Mr Di Labio for their inspiration and expertise in putting the event together.
