College Music Program

College Music ProgramThe St Norbert College Music Program provides a broad range of opportunities for all students. Through a strong classroom elective program, students explore a diverse range of musical genres and styles.

Classroom Music is an elective subject in which students develop thoerotical and practical skills. Classroom lessons are supported by the College Instrumental Program, which is available to all students and consists of weekly 30-minute individual tuition lessons on an instrument of the student’s choice. College ensembles provide another layer to the Music Program and aim to extend on students’ classroom, instrumental and vocal learning. Students can enrol in the Instrumental Program by completing the Instrumental Tuition application form available from the Xanten Performing Arts Centre, by contacting Katherine Freind in the Music Department, or by phoning the College.
