The Mathematics Association of WA runs the Maths Active School Program, which recognises schools that actively extend students and teachers beyond the traditional mathematics classroom.
We are proud to share that our Mathematics Department was awarded the Gold Award earlier this year.
This achievement reflects the department’s dedication to supporting students both in and beyond the classroom. Initiatives such as the Year 6 Boot Camp program help students transition confidently into Year 7 at St Norbert College.
In addition, members of the department have contributed to the wider mathematics community by presenting several professional learning sessions at the annual Mathematics conference, helping to strengthen teaching practice across WA schools.
