Bus Routes, Timetables and Ticket Information
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Term 1, 2023
An expansion in our enrolments of students residing in the Canning Vale area has led to an increase in patronage on our Canning Vale bus service, provided by Horizons Wests. As a result, the College has sought Horizons West Charters to increase the carrying capacity to an articulated vehicle. The larger bus has meant an increase in travel time for the completion of this route and a significant impact on the manoeuvrability through some of the streets. As a result, a decision has been made to change certain elements of this service. The changes, commencing on the “AM Service” on Tuesday, 7 March 2023, include:
- An earlier start time for this route– the first pick up will be at 7.20am (Boardman St after Garden St). This will result in earlier pick up times for most other stops
- Removal of sequential bus stops– on some occasions, there are numerous stops within a short distance, collecting a small number of students at each stop. It was felt that with some minimal movement, students can access one or other remaining stops relatively close to their previous preferred stop.
- The removal of a ‘spur route’ (Willcock St).The increased length of the articulated bus, the narrow streets to be navigated and the need to reduce travel time across the ,route has necessitated the removal of the spur-type stop at Willcock St Ferndale, where the bus deviates out and back from the main road. Again, it is felt, that with some minimal movement, students can access one or other remaining stops in close vicinity to Willcock Street. Please refer to the Canning Vale section below for AM and PM bus stop routes and times.
Horizons West operates five charter bus services for St Norbert College students, which cover several surrounding suburbs. Tickets for the College bus service can be purchased online via the Swype system.
AM and PM timetables and AM service maps are published below.

Please note: For the safety of passengers and the smooth running of all services, parents and students are reminded that drivers will not stop at unallocated stops. Where possible, St Norbert College and Horizons West will consider modifications to routes to accommodate student needs. Requests for such changes must be made in writing to the College Community Relations Officer – email firstname.lastname@example.org. Changes will not be made mid-term and will be considered for approval for the following Semester only. The timetables on this page are the most up-to-date provided by Horizons West, with recent updates marked in red.
