This morning our college gathered for a special ANZAC Day assembly, thoughtfully organised by our HASS department.
It was a time for both students and staff to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by Australians and New Zealanders who have served in armed conflict. We also took time to recognise the service of Indigenous soldiers during the Korean War, who stepped forward to serve their country despite the discrimination they faced. Their courage and determination remain an important part of our nation’s story. The assembly included a moment of silence, the laying of a wreath, a moving performance by our College Chorale, a recital of the Ode of Remembrance and the sounding of the Last Post.
