Year 12 students at St Norbert College have consistently achieved commendable results. The 2018 results saw the Year 12 cohort achieve a graduation rate of 99 per cent, a median ATAR that ranked the College 13th for Catholic schools in Western Australia, with all of our ATAR students receiving an offer to a public university in the Main Round. Also, all of our VET students achieved a Certificate II qualification or higher and 66 per cent of courses offered at the College for our Year 12 students had a mean above the State average.

Earlier this year, St Norbert College received formal congratulations from ACARA, who identified our school as having demonstrated substantially above average gain in reading and/or numeracy achievement, as measured by NAPLAN. Our NAPLAN results were again a credit to the hard work and diligent efforts of staff, students and families. The previous trend from 2014 – 2018 of above average gains in Reading, Writing and Numeracy were clearly evident again in the 2018 results. These above average gains are in comparisons to schools rated as having similar students.

A significant aspect of our College development was the work to complete our College Strategic Plan 2019 – 2021. The key focus areas of the previous plan were maintained as the College determined there was a need to refresh the previous plan, rather than engage in a full re-write, in an effort to consolidate the strengths and achievements of the previous 4 – 5 years at the College.

Student acknowledgement and recognition is a key aspect of our flourishing merit award and Academic Honours system at St Norbert College.
