Year 11 - Student Ministers

Year 11 Student Minister Responsibilities

  • Attend the Student Ministry Retreat before College begins.
  • Commit to one letter writing session in Terms 1, 2 and 3.
  • Commit to “Prepared for all Good Works” Project with enthusiasm.  Be the first to attain your placement.
  • Complete your reflection journal with diligence and care.
  • Commit to the “Encounter” Retreat demonstrating leadership and enthusiasm.
  • Commit to the Ash Wednesday Paraliturgy or the Holy Week Paraliturgy or the Liturgy Launch of the “Prepared for all Good Works” Project.
  • Commit to the “Quest” Retreat by becoming a Quest Minister.
  • Attend fortnightly meditations.
  • Seriously consider volunteering for the four day Kairos Residential Retreat.
  • Support the St Norbert College Communal Prayer Book by writing prayers for those in need of support in our Community.
  • Consider applying for the “India - Pilgrimage of Hope” Project.
  • Consider applying for the “Warmun Experience” (bi-annual project) Project.
  • To lead, where appropriate, at the College Assemblies and attend Student Conference Days. (Invitation only)
