Year 11 and 12 Drama students have evening performances over two weeks that range from one act plays to full length productions.

Japanese trip

St. Norbert College has an ongoing exchange programme with Immaculate Heart College in Kagoshima, Japan. Each year a group of Year 11 students who study Japanese have the opportunity to travel to Japan for 4 weeks to develop an understanding of Japanese culture and language. In return students from Japan are hosted by College families.

Creative Arts Exhibition

The Exhibition provides an opportunity to display the talent of our students in the areas of Art, Woodwork, Metalwork, Fabric Design, Photography and Dance. Appetisers, wine and music create a relaxed ambience for viewing the high levels of craftsmanship and talent.

Catholic Performing Arts Festival

The Catholic Performing Arts Festival attracts more than ten thousand performers each year in the categories of vocal, solo instrumental, band and choir. This popular festival provides opportunities for our students to display their talents outside the immediate College environment. During the Festival period students can also witness student performances from others schools. All participants receive professional feedback and certificates. The performances are open to the general public.

College Music Night

The term three music night has proven to be very popular amongst performers, students, parents and the wider community. This concert provides an opportunity for our young musicians to display their talents through solo, band and choir performances.

St Norbert Day Concert

In years when the traditional St Norbert Day activities are conducted on the school campus, we finish with a concert featuring a variety of ensembles, both vocal and instrumental, drawn from the ranks of the St Norbert music students. The concert is always well received and is a great way to finish the day.

Orientation Day Concert

This takes place at the end of the day and is designed to give the incoming students a taste of what music at St Norbert College has to offer. It is definitely one of the highlights of the day for all concerned.
